Players are placed on teams based on age and skill level following tryouts to create competitive teams and provide the best possible development environment.

Program Overview

TD Elite Basketball is designed for players who want to improve their skills, compete at a high level, and develop in a positive, challenging environment.

Our experienced coaching staff focuses on developing complete basketball players through structured practices, competitive games, and consistent instruction.

Throughout the season, players work on:

Tryouts

September 8 & 9, 2026

Players only need to attend one tryout session.

(See Tryout Schedule above for dates and times.)

Tryout Fee: $25

Year-Round Membership: One-time tryout fee only.

Individual Season Memberships: A tryout is required each season.

Team placement is based solely on skill evaluation. Team acceptance is not guaranteed.

Practice Locations

• Kushner Academy – Livingston, NJ
• Hoop Heaven – Whippany, NJ

Practice Schedule

• Mondays: 6:30 – 9:30pm
• Wednesdays: 6:30 – 9:30pm
• Fridays: 4-6pm

Practice schedules are assigned following tryouts based on age group and team formation.

League Games

League games are played on weekends throughout the season.

• Location: Hoop Heaven – Whippany, NJ
• Teams typically play one league game each weekend (schedule may vary).
• League game dates and tip-off times are generally released one week in advance by the league.

Tournament Games

Tournament games are also played on weekends. The majority of tournaments are a 15-45 minute drive for most.

Tournament Weekends

• October 3–4
• October 10–11
• October 17–18
• October 24–25
• November 1
• November 7–8
• November 14–15

Tournament schedules are typically released 48–72 hours before the event by the tournament organizer.

Each team is guaranteed 2 games at every tournament.
